Now remote mentors can mentor across languages
We’re a global company. Many of our clients and partners are multi-national and thousands of our users are in global mentoring programs. So, to improve the experience of our global users, the latest release of the eMentorConnect platform now gives users the option to translate their tool and work in their native language. The eMentorConnect mentoring tool can now be translated into 50 languages (plus English). This includes translating notes entered by a partner, learning content created by program admins and resources provided by eMentorConnect.
Users now have the option to select any of the below languages as their preferred language and see all text in the tool in their native language, including notes and learning content entered by an admin or partner in another language.
🇭🇹 Haitian Creole
Much of the content users see in their tool is created by their program’s administrator or their partner(s). Now the tool will dynamically translate this content into the user’s native language. For instance, when a user works on a task with a partner they will see the instructions in their native language.
They will also see their partner’s notes in their native language, but will have the option to see the notes in the language their partner originally wrote them in to avoid anything getting “lost in translation”.
Your mentoring tool comes with a library of resources to help users progress through their partnership and succeed as a mentee or mentor. And now this library comes in 50 different languages! Users automatically see the resources in their native language, and program administrators can also create resources in different languages to share with participants.
